Processing grief can take some time and a little help along the way may be just what you need. Have you lost a loved one and feel that it would be helpful to take some time to process it further?
Our grief group is led by trained counsellors who encourage the group to share their stories in a safe environment. It is helpful if the loss occurred at least 6 months to a year ago – recent loss can often be just too raw to deal with.
You learn some of the typical responses to grief and thereby put perspective on your own individual walk through the process. This can be enlightening as well as freeing; knowing that you are not ‘losing it’.
The responses of some who have attended the group have said it was ‘life changing’.
